Library Phasing Out Coin Operated B&W Photocopiers
To meet the diverse photocoping needs of our customers and reduce overhead to the College, the Baker Library has upgraded to two new black and white photocopier machines as part of a long term project under the administration of IT Director Alan Anderson . The old coin operated black and white photocopier vending system will be completely replaced after Spring Break on March 22nd. The new machines can only operate with the copier key card reader system.
Key cards may be purchased from a separate machine located outside the Library Conference Room in the Library. The initial card requires users to insert a dollar bill, which includes a one-time fee of $0.70 for the card and $0.30 worth of copies. This copier key card dispenser can also be used to add cash value to the key card. The initial purchased card can be used over and over again. While no credit or debit cards can be used with this dispenser, the machine does accept $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills. Coins are not accepted and no change is provided. If you have any further questions please call the Library’s Information Desk at 857-7379 or stop by for personalized instruction.
