1. Credo Reference will give you a good understanding of what "Offshore drilling" is.
Scroll down to the end of the article, a citation will be given to you according to the citation style you selected.

For those who selected "Vietnam War" as thier topic, ebooks are available from NCC Library.
2. Another database Academic Search Premier will give you articles from general magazines to scholarly journals on the topic. Type in the search box "oil spill", you will retrieve 23oo + articles, you can narrow your topic by adding the word "and", i.e. "Oil spill and health", "oil spill and environmental effect", etc...
3. Since it happens just recently, newspapers will be a good source of informations. Database LexisNexis Academic will retrieve all national and international newspaper articles.
4. Information found in Internet need to be evaluated. The criteria are:
Accuracy: Is the information correct?
Authority: What gives the author(s) of this site authority or validation?
Objectivity : Is the information on the website neutral?
Currency : Is the information current and is it relevant?
Coverage : Does the site throroughly cover and explain the material?
